On the morning of April 29th, Guangdong Province’s International Workers’ Day Celebration and Model Worker Commendation Conference was held in Guangzhou. In this year's Provincial May 1st International Workers’ Day Award selection, there are 26 collectives and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In September this year, the super typhoon “Mangosteen” seriously affected the city. The dormitory management team formulated the defense response measures according to the group’s leaders’ instructions of on the typhoon “Mangosteen” and the requirements of the Safety Supervision Department, and implemented the staff on duty and the staff responsible for each district. People on duty adhered to their posts, put in extra working hours, conducted a check and rectification before the typhoon, made best efforts in propaganda and mobilization, so as to eliminate many safety hazards. They transferred 143 people to ensure no casualties occurred, reduced the damage caused by the typhoon to our company, which were recognized by the group leaders.
